How do I repair holes in concrete?
Concrex® is our toughest commercial mortar, ideal for repairing holes between 5-50mm deep. It's easy to prepare and apply, providing extremely tough repairs and is ideal for repairing holes before they become too deep. It is also available in numerous colors enabling work to resume more quickly, as the surface does not need to be repainted after the hole is filled.
Concrex® cures within 3-6 hours. If you need a more rapid curing product why not use Concrex® Rapid Set? It is just as easy to use, it's durable and is designed for surfaces where optimal drying time is required. It will allow heavy traffic after just 3 hours.
What products can be used to repair large holes?
Larger holes (to a maximum of 200mm deep) need to be repaired with Concrex Deepfill. This economic mortar allows you to apply thick layers easily and quickly. It has excellent resistance to pressure and has a curing time of between 3-6 hours.
Flowpatch Deep Fill allows you to fill holes that are up to 20cm in depth, it is simple to use, fast curing and can withstand heavy machinery after just 2 hours.
How do I repair cracks in concrete?
For repairing cracks in concrete, Watco has created Concrex Fine Crack Filler, It's epoxy resin formula makes it harden quickly without shrinking. It is easy to use and can fill hairline cracks in floors.
How do I seal joints in concrete floors?
Concrex® Flex will provide permanent repair where a rigid mortar might fail.
Floor Joint Sealant is a flexible expansion joint filler which protects construction joints, cracks and slab edge up to 25mm wide, with its two-part pourable-grade polyurethane technology, it's:

How do I make minor repairs in concrete floors?
To get a perfect finish, small imperfections in your concrete floors must first be repaired before painting. Watco has designed Concrex® Fine Crack Filler, as its finer, pourable viscosity means it will easily fill blemishes, scratches and bolt holes.
It is quick and easy to use, does not require priming and can be smoothed at the edges. The complete kit that it is sold in includes a bottle of epoxy resin, hardener, a pair of gloves, a squeegee and two spatulas. A 1.5kg kit will produce approx. 1 liter of Concrex® Fine Filler.
What is the best practice for floor preparation?
For areas that are subject to heavy traffic, Flowtop® offers 33% more resistance to pressure than most concrete surfaces, as its microstructure polyamide fibers resist impact and abrasion. For painting this surface we would suggest Water Based Epoxy or Safety Coat.
What is the best way to level floors?
Cracked concrete, holes and uneven floors can pose a problem for forklift trucks and factory machinery. Concrex® can be applied for isolated repairs, or alternatively, you could use a self-leveling concrete floor compound like Flowtop®, which easily and quickly provides a smooth finish.
How can I repair floors in cold conditions?
If you want to make repairs at low temperatures, both inside and out, Watco recommends Concrex® Sub Zero. It is ideal for cold rooms, entrances and outdoor areas exposed to temperatures between 32°F and 50°F. Concrex® Sub Zero will harden at low temperatures where conventional mortar will not.
For repairs where temperatures are as low as -22°F, Watco has designed Flowpatch Sub Zero. In addition to enabling repairs to be made at very low temperatures, it cures to provide excellent resistance in only two hours.
Concrex® Sub Zero is ideal for damaged concrete floors where temperatures are as low as -4°F. It is ideal for applications where a feather edge is required at very low temperatures. Virtually indestructible, it is also non-slip, waterproof and resistant to chemicals.
How can I repair floors in wet basements?
If you want to repair areas such as basements that can be subject to damp and wet conditions, Watco recommends Liquid Waterproofer. This high-performance cement and quartz mix is specially designed to seal concrete surfaces. It will also withstand hydrostatic pressure and is ideal for use in basements, tunnels, elevator shafts, maintenance pits, garages, etc.
Which mortar should be used to repair a wall?
Concrex® Vertical is an epoxy mortar with unparalleled grip on most surfaces. It does not sag during the application, does not break under movement and quickly hardens to a durable waterproof finish. It is ideal for damaged concrete, columns, ledges, beams, plaster, and masonry. It can also repair frost damage to damaged walls and reinforced concrete.
