Maranatha Christian School uses Water-Based Epoxy in Unique Design!
Maranatha Christian School began in 1992, in San Diego, California as a small private school with seven students. It has since grown to educate over 700 students from Kindergarten through High School. Their Facilities Operations Director, Mark Waldorf came to Watco Floors in search of epoxy floor paint for the restrooms at the school.
"Our floors are 10 years old and we wanted to upgrade and update the restrooms,” Waldorf said when speaking to our team of experts
Watco’s experts recommended a coating from our epoxy line, but needed to know what he wanted from the floor paint. He said it needed to be “attractive, durable, long lasting and easy to apply.”
They recommended Water-Based Epoxy Coat - Gloss Finish, because of its extremely tough yet decorative glossy finish. The two part water-based epoxy paint had a long pot life making it simple to coat the elaborate patterns on the floor. It is virtually odorless and met the low VOC requirement of California.
"The product worked perfectly!” Waldorf said. He explained that it was easy to apply and the bright colors were just right for the restroom upgrades. Water-Based Epoxy’s excellent resistance to oil, solvents and harsh cleaning chemicals mean it will stay bright for years to come in this school’s restrooms.
